Interviewer

Interviewer is the person who asks questions during the interactive session that is generally known and referred to as an interview. It does not in any way mean that the person giving the interview (also known and referred to as interviewee) is not allowed to ask a question or clear his or her doubts. It is perceived that the person who is giving the interview is under a lot of pressure and stress but you should not be surprised to note that even the interviewers face lot of stress and pressure. They (interviewers are accountable and answerable as well) have to hire a person for a particular position and the management gives them the responsibility and at times the authority to hire a person but then the person selected should prove to be an asset rather than a liability.
At times interviewers have to behave and observe like a psychiatrist. The job for an interviewer becomes very easy and proves to be very successful if the interviewer is able to perceive the person (who he or she is interviewing) through his or her body language, way of talking and how a person conducts himself or herself. It is therefore seen and noticed that there is a standard “question type” that they rely upon, some of these questions can be: tell me something about yourself, tell me about your college/ university experience, your achievements and why do you want to join this company etc (just to mention a few questions here)?
The interviewer is generally capable enough to understand and comprehend answers to these standard questions, given by the interviewee. It is therefore seen that people who are high on confidence fare very well in an interview.
